Fertile Vegetation

A staged photography project exploring why a woman of childbearing age might choose not to pursue motherhood. Set in a dreamlike, artificial woodland, the series follows an idealized chronology — conception, awareness, fetal development, breaking of waters, labor, childbirth — and the hesitations tied to each stage, opening space for alternative paths and a more inclusive discourse on motherhood.
